League Ages 4-6
Placement in Quickball is based on a child's League Age which may differ from their actual age. Use this link to calculate your child's league age. (Note: League Age calculations differ for baseball and softball.)
USA Quickball
USA Quickball is comprised of a team of professionals that created an innovative program that focuses on developing baseball/softball skills and instilling confidence in young players. It is a fast-paced, action-packed curriculum using developmentally-appropriate equipment. Regardless of size or age, any player can compete and succeed in Quickball games!
Quickball- Baseball
Overview:
This is a coed division open to league-age 4-6 children that feeds into our baseball divisions. Small teams and lots of on-field coaches create an environment with lots of reps and instruction. Players that are League Age 4 and 5/6 are separated onto different teams. The 5/6 teams will introduce metal bats and baseballs by the end of the season.
Spring Schedule:
Parents can expect 1 session during the week and 1 session on Saturdays. Sessions include 30 mins of skill work and a 30 min game-style scrimmage.
Fields: Church Field & Football Field
Equipment:
League Age 4- No equipment is required but a glove and cleats are recommended.
League Age 5/6- Will need a glove and helmet for the second half of the season (beginner metal bat will be provided). Cleats are recommended. (See Parent Page for Equipment Buying Guide)
Quickball- Softball
Overview:
This is a division open to league-age 4-6 girls that feeds into our softball divisions. Small teams and lots of on-field coaches create an environment with lots of reps and instruction. Girls that are League Age 6 will be introduced to the pitching machine during the second half of the season in preparation for moving up to the Rookie Division.
